    Member Buying Club

Members can buy their groceries at near-wholesale prices!

The Buying Club allows Co-op members to place bulk orders through the store, which means they save money on the products they love. It’s easy to use--all it takes is filling out a short order form. Buying Club orders for grocery items placed by Thursday evening are ordered from our main supplier, United Natural Foods, on Friday morning, and the products are ready for pickup the following Tuesday. Members pay only 16% above wholesale prices for United orders. Some grocery products must be ordered by the case; others can be ordered by the item (some rules apply). Members can also order health and beauty products through additional suppliers at just 30% above wholesale. There is a three-item minimum for each of these products, and they are ordered once or twice a month. You can find additional details and guidelines for using the Buying Club at the store or by clicking on the link below. If you have any questions, please inquire at the Customer Service desk. Our Buying Club coordinator holds orientations at the store on the second Thursday of every month at 7 pm - stop by the store or call to sign up.

  • Buying Club Informational Booklet
  • The Co-op Buying Club is Online!
The first time you access the site, you will have to create an account by clicking on “Create an Account.” Once at the registration page, enter your member number and contact information. The system will automatically send you an email with your registration key, a one-time user code that you will need to complete the registration process. Check your email, and make sure Buying Club emails aren’t getting caught by spam filters. It should take no more than ten minutes to get to this point, after which the Co-op will need to check the information you entered against the information in our member database. This step could take up to 48 hours, so please be patient--it will only need to happen once.
After that, you can log in and get started. Be sure to read the “Club Messages” that appear on the welcome screen for updates, hints, and other Buying Club information. The system should be self-explanatory from here on in, but feel free to email any questions to buyingclub@berkshirecoop.org.
